This is good. A tour at the base of Uluru and champagne at sunset. That's what it says on my itinerary.
Uluru-KataTjuta is an Australian National Park, inhabited for 22,000 years, traditional owners are the Anangu people. Interesting concept, the original inhabitants are not called natives or first nations, but the traditional owners of the land. They are always referred to as tradional owners on any tour I take.
The tour bus is getting closer and closer. First glimpse!
We're told that there has been a lot of rain this fall (it is fall here), so the red clay is covered with brush.
