Train ride

So, I'm traveling to the 'tropical north'! Is that an oxymoron?? Tell that to the people in Baffin Bay.  However, in Australia at this time of year they travel north for the heat and sunshine, go figure.

Excitement on board.  A kangaroo decided to hop on between cars during the night.  Broke through the water tanks on one railcar and closed it down for the journey.  Now that's a different memory!

Some pics, staring at sunrise, of the train ride through cattle properties and sugar cane fields.  Sugar cane reminded me of the prairie wheat fields or Ontario's corn fields.  Endless miles of the prime ingredient in Australia's Bundi Rum!  Although Australia is one of the world's largest exporters of sugar as well.

Anyway, this has been an amazing experience so far.  Come to Austalia you'll never forget it!  I could be a good tour guide if they gave me some work.  Why I'd even volunteer !
